Several people have commented they don’t recognize the song “Wedding of the Painted Doll” from the 1929 movie Broadway Melody, that I said is in the 1951 movie Singin’ In The Rain. That’s understandable, because it’s in a montage sequence that lasts all of one minute. And here it is…

That’s Rita Moreno as Zelda. Moreno is still working at age 75. She’s currently appearing in the TV show Cane.
Taking a few days off. Need a break. Won’t be posting anything until Monday night.

It’s done! YAY! The rest of the pre-primed trim is in and the wiring is complete. A total of five work-weeks worth of effort by the contractor, and we have a porch that’s even better than we imagined.
You’ll recognize this tune from Singin’ In The Rain. It’s from Broadway Melody (1929), featured here a while ago. You’d almost think this was choreographed by Busby Berkeley. It wasn’t, but it certainly points in that direction.
