Hello Doug,
This is Theo, I’m on your blog with a picture of me and K3 and I would like to add to the comment that K3 including Josje, and very especially Kristel, have been very supporting to me in the transistion to a K3 without Kathleen. I still see K3 regularly, and I’m still a big fan.
I lost some weight (well 25 kg), so I look a bit different now, but could you add this picture to your story? It’s Kristel and me end of august 2011.

And on top of that you’re reminding me that for the first time in decades I need to lose weight myself. I’ll make myself even more jealous by grabbing this other photo of you with lovely Kristel. It looks like it was cold there for late August!
P.S. Adjusting to change isn’t easy, but I agree with Theo that Josje is great, although I’m still not sure how they can be K3 with two K’s and a J. 😉
Lina – Thanks for the links. Karen looks like she’s lost a lot of the weight she’d put on after having the baby. I’m going to do a K3 New Year’s post. You have a great year too!

Thanks for the new links, Lina! My searches on YouTube for K3 never come up with the videos you find. Toppers is such a big event! There is nothing like it here in America. Yeah, the video for Eyo is only OK, not great. Is that little girl Kristel’s daughter?

The EYO album by K3 has reached nr 1 in The NEtherlands and Belgium and is reached golden platinum status here and in Belgium! The music video has also bin out and looks very cheap and lowbudget but it looks cutr! im still not a huge fan of the pirate outfits! and K3 is using some autotune here and ther in the songs! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPZ_R50FHRs
my personal favorates of the albu mare “Smoorverliefd” a catchy synthpop song about being in Love! and “Meiden van de Brandweer”which means Girls of the fire department, and is about girl-firefighters who are also cupids who burn people who are in love down or something like that, that song is my absoltue fave cause its really catchy and dancey! i also like “Willem ALexander”which is gunan betheri next single, and its about the dutch crown prince, where they sing that they have written a love letter to the to be-prinses Maxima, his wife, that they want a prince like him! the lyrics are ridiculous cause the prince is not that hot as they discribe hi, but its catchy as hell!

Hhaa your welcome, 😀 yes the costumes are just weird ;3 but the song is catchy as always :). Yes Karen is awesome, love her. She’s soo funny, she’s like a fish in the water in their comedyseries, she’s such a good comedy actress! Kristel too, but i think more for drama/soap series. 🙂
Lina – Thanks! You are always very quick to find new K3 videos I haven’t seen yet. The costumes are awful! It’s like they are trying to be “Pirates on the Caribbean” instead of Studio 100’s Pirate Piet. I am a Karen fan. She is the best actress in K3, but I think Kristel has unique beauty and charm.
Hi doug i have some news from K3 land :3 K3 is releasing a new song called Eyo on october 30, and in november their next studio album will be in stores here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxg9tP7nZhQ thats the tv premiere of the song :d its a really fun summer song (which is really strange since its already autumn) the song is about being happy and stuff like mostly in k3 songs. the song has electropop influences and some autotune moments, which kindof hints that K3 is probrabyl trying a new direction!! Check out Karen being a bit sexy at 2:50 😀 i love it. I love their new song, their album that is coming is also called eyo and it has a pirate theme, but their clothes are horibble! atleast i find them awful maybeyou liek them?? xxx Lina!!
