Good thing Spidey isn’t in Boston, or his webbed-up street clothes would be mistaken for a bomb, and the panicked response by the authorities would bring the city to a standstill.

John Romita drew it in pencil, Jim Mooney put ink over the pencil. From just the two lines at the elbow I can tell that’s Romita’s work. Literally, I kid not. Old comic book fans both celebrate and bemoan our totally useless art identification skills. But, in a way, it gives me an appreciation for the work of serious art historians in identifying fraudulant works of art.
Good catch on the arm! Who is the guilty artist?
Cartooning comment — Spidey’s right arm is drawn incorrectly. The hand can’t be in that position with the outside of the elbow drawn the way it is.
