Hey, wait a second. “Schultz”? That’s not right, yet a quick check of something leads me to conclude that this really is about our friend Monte Schulz.

Follow-up: Yes, it’s Monte! This line was missing from the original article.

Schultz is a novelist and the son of the late “Peanuts” cartoonist Charles Schultz.

I can’t believe people still get “Schulz” wrong.

  1. Oh yes, I know. A friend of mine gave me this book last year, when it just came out, but I’ve never really had time to read it (only now).
I know Jeannie and Schulz’s children complain about the book, saying things are wrong and everything, and I have no reason to doubt them, but anyway… it’s providing me some information I would never imagine… I mean, things about his youth and all that stuff.

  2. Hey, nothing to do with this post, but I was reading ”Schulz and Peanuts: A Biography” (by David Michaelis) and I found out Joyce’s birthday and mine are in the same day!! September 28th! It’s coming, it’s coming… this year she will turn 80 and I will turn 16 😉
