Schulz’s Schulz Library

Yesterday, I pointed out the Schulz Library that’s up in Vermont. But what about the books the man himself had in his studio? A sneaky visitor to the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, California offers a glimpse, at this link. I wish he had provided a link to a larger, high-resolution image, but I recognize one title there that’s on my own bookshelf — Citizen Soldiers, by Stephen Ambrose.

  1. Hey Monte,

That would be super if you can find the picture. The easiest thing to do would be to mail it to me, or I can create an account and tell you how to post it.

    Thanks!

  2. There used to be twice as many books. I’ll see if I can find one of the photos I took of the book shelves right after Dad died, but before I began taking his books home with me. That article is wrong in saying they’re all there. I’d guess more than half are gone now, mostly to me. If I find the studio pic, you’ll need to tell me how to post it here.

  3. I can’t recognize any title, but I see many many books!!
According to Monte, Schulz was a great reader! 😉
