This picture was scanned from Wednesday’s Boston Globe. I’d read about the talk concerning Steve Job’s health, but this stunned me. In this layman’s view, can there be any doubt that Steve Jobs is dying?

Absolutely no doubt. After reading up about his pancreatic cancer, this guy’s number is about up. It’s hard to believe he’s our age plus only seven months. Check out “health concerns” under his WIkipedia entry.
On the Sydney Morning Herald web site there was a color picture from a recent ipod unveiling and this poor man looks ill to me too. The article said a blogged entry saying Steve Jobs had a major heart attack had sent stock prices tumbling temporarily. So apparently that Apple is touchy about his health is an understatement. It did say he survived a rare form of pancreatic cancer, and having had an aunt who died from pancreatic cancer I know it can ravage your body. My uncle (my Dad’s brother) said my aunt’s family lost several members from cancer and I know their family reunion pictures always had at least one family member balding and gaunt from chemo. Steve Jobs’ appearance resembles some of those people in those photos.
