An unusual recording from ’67, written and produced by Lee Hazelwood, and performed with Nancy Sinatra. Starting off like a variation of “It Was a Very Good Year” by Nancy’s dad, it then switches between sounding like a spaghetti western theme and being a trippy waltz.
Oh! “Bang, Bang” yes of course I know Sonny wrote that. Great song!
I do tend to enjoy Tarantino’s soundtracks.
Sonny Bono wrote the song for Cher. They went for Nancy’s cover that was used in Tarantino’s Kill Bill.
Speaking of Nancy Sinatra, this was one of my all time favorite pieces on So You Think You Can Dance: https://youtu.be/jXxS9Gy6a7A
