Cosmetic damage shouldn’t be a reason to fail annual inspection.
The minivan that Emma now drives was sideswiped by some yellow vehicle while it was parked at her house, but only sustained cosmetic damage. When we tried to file a claim, insurance was ready to declare it a total loss, so we withdrew the claim.
He’s fine. The only damage was what you see. The car was drivable.
