Wow! That IS great. I always get annoyed when somebody posts that Rudolph was the first animated Christmas special. Magoo beat our favorite reindeer by two years!
One of my nicknames for Molly is “Mrs. Magloo.” It just came out of nowhere.
Finally, you probably know that the composer and lyricist for this rarely shown classic wrote a small Broadway hit a couple of years later: “Funny Girl.”
