I won’t wait for Comedy Central to post this one. Stephen Colbert points out that in the up and down world of romance novels, publisher Harlequin is struggling for a new image. And he has a few suggestions.
Meg, allegedly an intern, is featured in this segment. She was seen previously handing Stephen the shield that was bequeathed to him by Captain America. As you can see in this video, the shield is now hanging proudly on Colbert’s Wall of Fame.
You got that exactly right, twin bro!
I’ve probably said this before, but I’ll say it again. I think of Jon Stewart as a comedian and Colbert as an actor. Stewart is a smart and funny man, but Colbert is something more. He’s creating a fantasy parallel universe of reality, with many different personas, including a cartoon super-hero version of himself.
I love how “People Magazine” named Colbert one of its “Sexiest Men Alive” this year. Naturally, Stephen has used every opportunity to bring up this fact. I think it’s listed under the category “Looking in Unusual Places,” or something like that. Jon Stewart is cute, too, with that impish grin always a second away from breaking down into hysterical laughter.I noticed that on “Comedy Central,” you can feast on a whole bunch of Stewart/Colbert “crossovers!” I like the one where Stephen is too busy still writing his show, so he’s sitting at his desk not answering Jon’s questions. Instead, a previously recorded audio tape plays over top. HA!
