Can you believe it? She’s still called a “former child star” over there! That was some 60 years ago, but she still can’t shake the title in the UK.

Thanks for you comment. I’m of English descent — the name is Pratt — so I’m not one to knock the UK. I’m merely expressing my US-based point of view. To us, she appeared out of nowhere in early 1965. Petula herself has stated she felt the English had a hard time changing their view of her. And if you look here you’ll see that I later realigned my viewpoint.
