  1. Follow a direct line from the bridge of my nose to the tiny glowing ball of light in the middle. That is the contrast dye showing a minor growth on my pituitary gland. These are almost always benign, and grow so slowly that they are left alone unless they start to impinge on the optic nerves. Mine could stay that size for the rest of my life. The treatment consists of hormone therapy.
