The online edition of The Comics Journal #290 has been published, featuring an in-depth look at the Schulz and Peanuts biography that was the focus of attention here for quite a few postings. There’s a free preview of The Comics Journal’s coverage at this link, including an extended excerpt of Monte Schulz’s essay. I’ll try to hold out for the print edition, but I may subscribe to the online edition.

“Happiness is a warm paperback writer! “Ha! That was a 2 fer 1. Monte, I’m going to see if it’s at B&N so I can read it, too. Wow, this is strange. Doug and I have come a long way from reading the paperback “Peanuts” collection that we always gave my Dad for Christmas nearly 40 years ago to blogging with Sparky’s son in 2008!
Ha! You’ve made my day, Monte. Well, you don’t get closure until I’ve opened the magazine. I’ve heard that the good, ol’ paper edition is indeed available, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long.
I’m waiting for you to read the essay. Then I’ll have closure. 🙂
