Worthy projects! I never used a PDP/8, but I had a lot of experience with the PDP 11/70 and its attractively colored rocker panel switches.
Well, I don’t know about that, but I purchased a kit (http://obsolescence.wix.com/obsolescence#!pidp-8/cbie) to make a 2/3 scale working replica of the PDP-8/I front panel which is connected to a Raspberry Pi which runs software to emulate the PDP itself.
