There are lots of tributes to voiceover man Don LaFontaine, who was far from the end of his career when he died, but that won’t stop me from doing one myself. I’ll embed this video, and YouTube will toss in a playlist of hopefully related clips.

I heard about Don LaFontaine’s hospitalization on Mark Evanier’s blog. I was hoping that Don could come through this, but unfortunately that was not the case. I’m going to miss that voice, but if God needs to address us vocally, look who he can have speak for him!
“bald families … ” HA! My old boyfriend Bob Smith had O-S, and he sure didn’t walk like that lol. I knew it was a joke from the minute they treated that as an incurable disease! Yes, “The Voice” will be sorely missed. There are a few other famous voice actors out there, but he truly wore the crown.
