  1. I DID hear a very scary alert on the car radio. I was nearing when I changed the channel. It was around that time. I came in on it, and they were saying to go your cellar or the lowest place you could immediately! Then all of a sudden it stops and that awful noise comes back on and they are talking about a very severe thunderstorm and possible tornado warning for our county (Mifflin) and several others around it. I was about to get out of the car when the sky went very dark, a huge wind whipped up, bending trees! And hail started banging on the roof of the carport I had just pulled into. Scary! I waited over five minutes for a lull to run the dozen or so yards into the house. The rest of the storm was pretty tame. Maybe the real weather alert interrupted the test?
