Dino Danelli, the Rascal with the Paul McCartney good looks, has died. The Young Rascals, with their “Blue-Eyed Soul” sound, produced some of the most exquisite records of the 1960’s, or any decade. Is it any wonder so many boys wanted to be in a band or, in my case, become a radio DJ?
Groovin’ – Released April 10, 1967 #1 on Billboard Pop Chart
A Girl Like You – July 3, 1967 #10
How Can I Be Sure? – August 28, 1967 #4

I loved all their songs! Especially “:How Can I Be Sure?” with its great vocals, arrangement, and snappy waltz beat. I will always associate it with cleaning Mom and Dad’s room in Norwalk, while hearing WABC play it. Yes, my job was to clean the entire house at least every other weekend, from a very pretty early age. I was running the vacuum in Fort! I temember being pissed that day because Dad had taken everybody somewhere fun. No idea where Mom was.
