Bloody Cartoonist

Arlo and Janis
Arlo and Janis creator Jimmy Johnson confused me and my friend Sam when he said nothing in his blog about last week’s series, which seemed to indicate that he had cut his finger rather badly.

He’s posted a partial explanation. Click here to read. Jimmy doesn’t use permalinks, so if he suddenly posts something new, you’ll have to scroll down to find this item.

  1. The mystery of Jimmy Johnson giving us the finger has been solved! Thank you! Now I’ll be able to sleep.

  2. Reading last week’s Arlo and Janis, Sam was wondering if Johnson had cut his finger, and I told him that Johnson’s blog said nothing about it. He had apparently decided to hold off explaining the cut finger until after the strips ran. But I have to agree with Jimmy that the series wasn’t entirely successful. Both Sam and I feel it didn’t deserve to run the entire week.

I can’t imagine Jimmy Johnson posting anything on my blog or even linking to it. As it is, he posts only sporatically to his own site. I haven’t had contact with him in quite a few years.

  3. I’m confused. What do you and his friend Sam have to do with his cut finger??? Has Jim posted to your blog?
