What an irresponsible thing for a United States senator to say. I see this event as being the latest in a long series of mass shootings. What Vance should be doing is promoting an assault weapon ban.
That’s my assumption. Trump didn’t decide until Vance accused Biden. Vance has shown himself to be a purely political creature.

My guess is incompetence. The good guys with guns thought the bad guy with a gun was one of them.
