Elbonia General

Scott Adams is back in the hospital. He’s receiving radiation treatments. I can relate.

Having had a large chunk of melanoma carved out of my scalp eight years ago, a spot that recently appeared on my stomach concerned me. My dermatologist was quick to assure me it’s nothing.

Two spots on my leg, however, were immediate candidates for biopsy. I’m now waiting for the results.

  1. Whoops. I mean your leg! The stomach is a less common area. I’ve had two basal cell and three pre-cancerous lesions removed from my left leg. Yes, waiting up to a week for the biopsies aren’t fun. Only one squamous cell on my neck, which never returned.

  2. This has got to be one of the worst couple of days in history. Two mass shootings, and the great Rob Reiner and his wife killed by their own son. I cried over that one.

But by far your leg biopsies suck the most. I’m going to stay positive, Dougie. You should have a package on your door full of Christmas goodies. Maybe a few of those will help. A little.

I love you so much. You made my childhood bearable. And a shout-out to Scott. A great guy and a great talent. Like I’ve said before, he keeps a place of honor in my bathroom library.
