Weather or Not

Regardless of the snow that’s forecast for tomorrow, I have to drive into downtown Boston for a retina exam.

If the roads are slippery, that will be a good test of my Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. Of course, they can’t do much to protect me from cars with less capable tires.

UPDATE: I had to reschedule the appointment. When checking the Epic Systems Patient Gateway, the location of the appointment had been changed.

I called the Boston office and was told the exam would be there, but the consultation with the doctor would be more than a 30-minute drive away. A single appointment that required me to be in two places at the same time. And Epic’s software didn’t catch it.

Which reminds me. There isn’t much good to say about the Trumpy attorney general of Texas, Ken Paxton, but I must admit to liking his lawsuit against Epic Systems.
