The National Cartoonists Society announces its annual call for entries for consideration for the NCS Divisional Reuben Awards, recognizing excellence in professional cartooning for work published in 2025. Winners will be announced at the 80th Annual Reuben Awards held August 7th, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio.
All entries must be submitted by January 23, 2026. You do not need to be a member of the National Cartoonists Society to enter. There is no submission fee.
Eligible entries must be work first published between January 1 and December 31, 2025. All submissions must be completed online and must comply with the division-specific guidelines.
Submissions are accepted for consideration in the following divisions:
Advertising / Product Illustration
Art for Animated Media
Book Illustration
Comic Book
Editorial Cartoon
Gag Cartoon
Graphic Novel
Magazine / Newspaper Illustration
Newspaper Panel
Newspaper Strip
Online Comics: Long Form
Online Comics: Short Form
Variety Entertainment
