The USDA is building hospitals?

It makes sense the government agency that is most involved with rural America would step in where there is a need beyond providing farm subsidies. What I don’t understand is why the people in rural America who benefit from the federal government’s direct assistance hate the government and support Trump.

Ol’ ’55

Old magazines provide some of the best views and insights into 20th century America. With the impermanence of digital storage, along with the constant change in digital formats, will there be anything from the 21st century for far-flung future generations to study?

The Men’s Clubs

Trump refused to say what nobody was asking, about Arnold Palmer’s swinging club, but of course he said it anyway.

Who else should Trump be praising for their legendary mighty manhood?

Political Stunt Man

Stupid and shameless. He’s never worked an honest day in his life.

There was nothing honest about this staged event.

The restaurant was closed to the public during Trump’s visit, and the motorists whom Trump served were screened by the U.S. Secret Service and positioned before his arrival. No one ordered food. Instead, the attendees received whatever Trump gave them.

A Tax by the Name of Tariff

Trump has never met a tariff he didn’t like and, good golly gosh, The Wall Street Journal of all things has something negative to say about that.

Men without a college degree are a large part of Trump’s constituency. They have been disproportionately affected by income inequality over the past 40 years. Because income inequality is a Democratic issue, you won’t hear Trump use that term when speaking to the working class men at his rallies.
