So much sketching and so little time. Oh, wait. I’m retired, so I have the time.

Mixing politics directly into the strip was a bad idea, but I was probably stuck for an idea that night.

Maybe I was thinking unconsciously about Myst when I drew today’s logo sketch. I was playing the game back around the same time when I was drawing the strips.

Remember managed care? That used to be the big fad in medical coverage.

For today’s logo, a mischievous looking Beckle wearing a helmet of indeterminate purpose.

Being the Memorial Day weekend, it’s perfect for a nighttime visit to the beach. I like to think of this as a “composition in ink,” with some Pro-White used to complete the effect.

The logo for today is a super-quick drawing of Wendell, and you can see that I still enjoy playing around with his design.

Good, old-fashioned jack stands! Cars now come with much safer scissors jacks for changing tires.
