This part of the documentary covers Ditko after he left Marvel. I really liked a lot of his stories for ultra-cheapie publisher Charlton, in Derby, CT. They were reminiscent of his mystery stories at Marvel before the return of super-hero comics in ’61-’62.

That’s Jazzy Johnny Romita in the preview frame. He took over drawing The Amazing Spider-Man in 1966, after Steve Ditko abruptly quit the book and left Marvel Comics. Ditko returned to Marvel later, but he never drew Spider-Man again.
