Musk offers to pay TSA salaries, as Trump floats ICE at airports

The fact that Musk is able to realistically make this offer says something significant about the concentration of wealth in America.

Trump is setting a high bar with his typically hyperbolic threat to deploy ICE agents to airports, “where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before.” Really? I was once held at gunpoint in a windowless room by airport security in Saudi Arabia.

Trump posted on social media about Mueller’s death: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead.”

Good to know. Now I won’t be reluctant to say the same thing about Trump when he’s dead.

I’m listening to Trump’s live press conference. The way he’s rambling, repeating himself, contradicting himself, slurring his speech a bit, and sniffling throughout, he sounds like someone on coke. It’s one way to keep from falling asleep in meetings, as he’s been doing lately.

Who will tell Trump, “you’re playing with World War Three”?

First, Trump antagonized our allies, claiming they’d somehow been taking advantage of America’s trade policies for decades. He used that as a bogus excuse to slap a series of arbitrary, punitive tariffs on them.

Then he started his war of choice in Iran, and he did that without consulting with any of our European allies. After that, he insulted UK PM Keir Starmer for offering to assist “after it had already been won.”

Of course the war hasn’t already been won, and now Trump wants those same European countries he insulted and ignored to join his war and protect the Strait of Hormuz.

So it’s no surprise why, so far, no other nation has taken the bait. Trump looks foolish, and this by itself is enough to rank him as the worst-ever president of the United States.
