  1. Doggies age more quickly that cats, I think. Gracie will be only be four next February 22nd, but that’s already well into adulthood. She has hip displaysia on both sides. It’s sort of in remission right now, but will worsen as the weather gets really cold. Then I have to lay out the big bucks for Rx doggie NSAIDS. They REALLY ARE a magic bullet for her, though. Still, she’s a happy “doogie,” and is my constant companion most of the day. WOOF! Of course, I also have to tend to the Zebra finches, the 10-gallon aquarium, and Molly’s hamster habitat. Actually, Molly is very diligent about taking care of the hamster, at least. I just sold my latest four young adult finches to the new pet store; there were girls waiting to buy them when I walked in the store! I think I told you that story. I’m the store’s main finch breeder.

  2. That’s how Eric feels about dogs. Marianne’s dog, Georgia, is my all-time favorite dog, but now I realize that she’s already getting to be an old dog!

  3. How SAD!! Sniff. As for me, I hate cats, and they hate me! A perfect relationship. However, “Bob” doesn’t count, because he doesn’t ACT like a cat. Most cats give me you that “DROP DEAD NOW” look whenever I approach. Even kittens claw to be let down if I try to hold them! Of course, Tigger and Tobbitt were exceptions to the rule, too.
