Last December I posted a TV commercial for Stella Artois beer, which is considered by some to be the Budweiser of Belgium. Well, now Bud can be the Bud of Belgium, because Anheuser Busch is being acquired by the Stella Artois brewer, Inbev, for $52 billion. What’s next? Studio 100 acquiring Disney? They could send K3 to America for a Kissing Day tour! 😉

Can someone tell me why Budweiser commercials are still talking about “America’s lager” and “commitment” (that’s a good one), when the company is now Belgian-owned? Are the ad makers in denial?
My GOD! I saw this news item this morning and couldn’t believe. When something as American as Budweiser gets bought out by a foreign interest, it’s scary as hell. Well, Hershey has already sold out, don’t forget that. What’s more American than a Hershey bar? It’s all part of the … New World Order! All men will be expected to look like Orlando Bloom and all women, like, gasp, ugh, Mega-Mindy, or worse, yet … the three K’s … NOOOOO!!!!!
Yeah, the big corporations are selling out to foreign firms big time and nobody is accusing them of being un-American, but just try not wearing your flag lapel pin.
You know, I wondered why the Stella Artois commercials just appeared on TV out of the blue. Now we know. Don’t worry, Doug, pretty soon all American biggies will be foreign-owned, even baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, Chevrolet, and nod to Nat King Cole-soda, pretzels and beer!
