One has to wonder how a media outlet becomes aware of something like this. Well, having been in the news biz a long time ago I can tell you — somebody calls up and says, “I’ve got something (or done something) I think you’ll be interested in.” Yes, shameless self-promotion is the safe assumption. But, then, with this blog, who am I to talk?

  1. Those things stink to high heaven! And speaking of high … that guy must have been feeling “eight miles high” by the time he got done! 😉 I entered a poster contest for the Acton Towne Fair in the summer of 1972 and one second prize! ($15, which I spent on the Carpenters “Close to You” album.) I used magic markers to draw the entire poster and let me tell you, I was feeling pretty woozy after about the first hour and had to open all the windows in my room and take several long breaks!

    You know what really smells bad? Some of those dry board markers!
