Most honorable daughter Molly has been caught redhanded! She’s been downloading Beatles music like mad onto her iPod. Her quote: “Music hasn’t been any good since the summer of 2005!” Her favorite: “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” plus the above tune, natch, since she’s into everything Russian. Another quote: “Today’s music is so blatant about sex, and the Beatles were so sweet and innocent.” Well … not always! I said. I didn’t mention some of their later stuff.
Paul looks and sounds great! His voice was getting a bit rough a few years ago, but it’s in super shape again.
In past generations a man would retire at 65 and promptly drop dead, but there’s Paul at 67, still at it, and he seems to be really enjoying himself. We’ll be seeing him in Boston on August 5.
