On Ringo’s new album, “Y Not,” Paul backs him up on a song his former bandmate co-wrote with Van Dyke Parks, who shares a distinction with Timmy & Lassie’s Jon Provost — as a child actor he was once in a movie with Grace Kelly.

Well, of course I meant NEARLY 70. Prue looks SMASHING (again, said with a Liverpudlian accent) at 69. Of course Macca (a Brit pet name, to be sure) wrote that bit. Ah, to be so talented …
He’s not 70 yet. July. (Prue will be 69 in April.) I’m curious about the turn that “Walk With You” takes at 2:55. It’s exactly the short of bridge that McCartney excels at doing, so my guess is Paul added that bit.
RIngo’s on a roll with this new album. I listened to all the tracks (they’ve all been posted to YouTube), and “The Other Side of Liverpool” really knocked me socks off! It has a raw edge to it, as I’m sure he was looking for, and all his old “mates” got the nod. This is his best solo work ever, and he’s 70! He looks and sounds better than ever. Go, go, RIN-go! 😉
