Yes, they mentioned this important fact on my favorite oldies station, HUNY 106.3 this morning. Oh, I won one of their contests last week, “word nerd,” where they give clues to the meaning of a word, basically, easy synonyms, but you have to come up with the difficult word. I won with “ululate.!’ I got a free “GoPhone” with 106 (of course) minutes and a $10 gift certificate for their local Hosses. I digress!
The station is a favorite for a reason! They pick their “Favorite Birthday” celeb for the day and they play a five-song block of their hits, which they did for Pet. Extra kudos to them for playing “My Love,” a sentimental fave of mine which many oldies stations put on the back burner!
