Every autumn I tell myself I should get some of the oak trees in the yard taken down.

Today I was in the gutter. Up in the gutter, that is, on a ladder. The trees are a lot bigger than they were when we moved her 12 years ago, so it isn’t my imagination that we have a lot more leaves than we used to have.
As I type this, Tom is in the middle of the blowing leaves off the front lawn. “The leaf blowers … is there anything more … futile?” Bill Shatner. Don’t know if that quote is exact or not, but you get the idea. 😉
If I had a similar thought, it would have to be, “I should get the one tree in the yard taken out” which is why I don’t have thoughts like that 🙂
