For Christmas of that phantasmagorical, psychedelic year of 1967, the Beatles produced Magical Mystery Tour for BBC TV, and the equally zany Christmas Time is Here Again, my favorite of the records they made for their fan club.

P.S. Note the “Christmas Cracker” paper hats on the boys!
I thought I checked dograt.com for Christmas posts, and nothing came up! Well, here they are on New Years Eve, and just as good. Yesterday, I did my boring ironing with one of my fave CDs to liven things up: Petula Clark Duets! Best of all, she and Rod McKuen sing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” so I hear a Christmas song all year long.
