I Never Took LSD. Here’s Why.

I was afraid this would be what I saw.

Are you as annoyed as I am that so many headlines end with “Here’s Why”?

  1. YES! It must be a Millennial/Gen Z journalistic device. Gag. Other hated words/phrases: MOMENT! “This is a very historic moment. Let’s take a moment to listen in. He’s clearly realizing the importance of this moment.” Hate to sound sexist, but the female reporters are mostly guilty. How about “impactful?” Is that even a word? Molly loves it. I abhor “gaslight,” unless I’m watching the sublime movie. Is the word even uttered by the superb cast? Nuke “At the end of the day,” and “Back in the day,” because even our peers are starting to use them, even my husband.

  2. Formulaic titling sucks. Here’s why. Because it sucks. Try this one crazy trick to cleanse your feed of all formulaic titles! The government DOESN’T WANT YOU TO KNOW!
