Planting Impatiensly

If my parents had made a go of their florist/greenhouse business in Wisconsin, I might know as much about plants as anything else. As it turned out, I know next to nothing. The two impatiens I had hanging on the front porch all summer did so well I decided to see if they can survive the winter, repotted on the all-season porch.

If the porch works for the impatiens, maybe later I could “pot” some other plants. 😉

Yes, I’m kidding!

  1. I have a healthy New Guinea impatien plant I brought in after its lush leaves survived a hard frost. The darned thing never bloomed all summer. I also brought in two arcane, gorgeous succulents that wouldn’t bloom. The leaves are too beautiful to leave to Jack Frost! I’m hoping some indoor TLC will help. My yellow mums also refused to let their new buds open! Good luck with your ganja, er, impatien plant!

Right now I’m watching “Superman and the Mole Men,” which I encountered by accident on Amazon Prime. It scared me terribly as a kid. I wonder why?
