The Seventies began with the Yippie message, “don’t trust the government.” Incredibly, the Eighties began with Ronald Reagan winning the presidency by co-opting the same message.
China didn’t rip off America, we ripped off China. American business wanted to take advantage of cheap Chinese labor. China turned that around to become the world’s leading exporter of manufactured goods. As a nation, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
