Who’s playing with World War 3 now, Donald?
Surrender to what authority? Israel? It can’t be the United States, because we haven’t declared war on Iran. Netanyahu started this war because he wanted to push Trump into acting on his behalf.
We made the mistake of regime change in Iraq, based upon false claims about weapons of mass destruction. Now we’re going to repeat and compound that mistake in Iran?
For all of Trump’s tough talk, he isn’t tough-minded. He’s indecisive and easily influenced. Trump took Bibi’s bait and he’s letting Netanyahu set American foreign policy.
The present crisis started because Netanyahu failed to do the one thing he promised to do — protect Israel. The horrible attack against Israeli civilians by Hamas shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone. Hamas did exactly what everyone knew they were determined to do. If Netanyahu hadn’t screwed up, he would have had a decisive win on both the ground and the moral high ground.
In a world-class example of someone over-compensating for their inadequacy, Netanyahu embarked on a campaign of genocide that, in the long run, is endangering the existence of Israel.
