Eversource said the meter is an industry standard, with 75% of the country already installed. The swap was made this morning, with a brief loss of power. The guy installing it said the receiver is “a few miles away.”

Not at all sure if this is like the meter we have (probably not…), but it does communicate over radio, and I have an SDR stick programmed to pick up those readings from my meter and integrate that data into my Home Assistant. How often do I look at it? About as often as I look at all the health data my Apple watch collects…
