A Cuphead chaser? Why not!

By the way, somewhere in transit Amazon lost my copy of the “Art of Cuphead” book. I’m waiting for the refund to come through before making another attempt at ordering it.
If I keep posting about Cuphead this way, I’ll have to give him his own category. The “Delicious Last Course” title seemed curious to me, so I asked an expert, “Why DLC?” The answer is it’s stating exactly what the long-delayed game addendum will be — Downloadable Content.
Until the Netflix series premieres, here is the closest thing available to a Cuphead cartoon that’s independent of the gameplay. It starts with the first thing every new animator must master, a walk cycle.
Follow-up: Netflix has a preview of the cartoon series. It looks… okay… but it completely lacks the quirky charm of the work done by the original team. I’ve been told the animation shows the influence of the CalArts School of Film/Video.
Right after thinking up the title for this post I wondered if there’s a Roomies TV show or musical. This is what I found:
“ROOMIES is a sassy, silly, & sexy new web series about two gay roommates from small town Indiana who move to L.A. in pursuit of fame, glitz, & glamour.”
They’re certainly not shy about embracing gay stereotypes. But the subject of this post isn’t that.
A while ago I talked about one of my college roommates, regarding the subject of cassettes. An old friend of mine, going back to high school, has told me a bit about her one-time roomie in college.
It was a Charlie Brown Christmas with a sci-fi twist last month. Vincent’s guest on the “Creature Features” YouTube channel was Benjamin Clark, curator of the Charles M. Schulz Museum.
