Most “hour” network TV shows are now about 40 minutes long. So is this survey of Fantastic Four comic book covers from the legendary Lee-Kirby run on the title. More than half of the issues were inked by my dearly departed pal, Joe Sinnott, who returned to the series in issue #44, after inking Jack’s art for the introduction of Doctor Doom in issue #5.
Breaking Bat
Bryan Cranston is the voice of Jim Gordon in Batman: Year One, adapted from the comic book limited series, written by Frank Miller and drawn by David Mazzuccelli. Real life cryptocurrency crime fighter Ben McKenzie, who later played Gordon in the Gotham TV series, is the voice of Bruce Wayne.
Get Back to Tap
Tap into the past! Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues is a FUNNY, NOTE-PERFECT, HEARTFELT DELIGHT! The only disappointment in the IMAX showing I saw was the lack of the promised live Q&A session that, I suppose, is limited to the west coast screenings. This will have to do.
The Marketable Song
The closing to yesterday’s installment of Marketplace.
This Here and That There
IMAX is 1 Louder
I have my ticket for tomorrow night’s IMAX screening.
There is supposed to be a live Q&A session after the movie. I want to know if Spinal Tap’s legendary Outhouse Tapes will be released.
