I’ve never been to the Comic-Con in San Diego, but they don’t need me there because it’s the biggest fanboy (and girl) convention anywhere. The fun includes everything from Charlie Brown to Star Wars, and Mark Evanier will be there, of course. If I were attending, on Friday I’d have to run from his panel with EC artist/writer/editor Al Feldstein over to this one:

What? No Pamelyn Ferden? She took over as the voice of Lucy in latter Charlie Brown specials. Naturally, I’m happy they chose the original voice of Lucy to grace the convention. God, I wish I could be there, too. There won’t be a dry eye in the house! If they play “Christmastime is Here,” you’ll see hundreds of Boomers losing it! Hey, they don’t have the kid who did Linus. He also did commercials, most notably as one of the older brothers in the infamous Life “Mikey” commercial.
