Trump has non-binding criminal referrals against him, and Sam Bankman-Fried is under actual criminal indictment. While all of that is in play, I will enjoy re-watching this Frontline documentary. I’m a sucker for stories about the 2008 Financial Crisis. This one focuses on Bank of America.
The Man That Fell to Earth
Joseph Kittinger has died.
There’s more about Kittinger in this video that I first used back in August.
Positively Negative
Three weeks seems to be the time it takes after Covid to return to normal. Whatever normal is after 9/11, after the Financial Crisis, after January 6, and after the pandemic’s arrival. I continue to test negative for Covid, and today I returned to the library, sitting “where the old people sit,” as I once heard a high school kid say to a friend.
The Passed
A Beautiful Music
Dino Danelli, the Rascal with the Paul McCartney good looks, has died. The Young Rascals, with their “Blue-Eyed Soul” sound, produced some of the most exquisite records of the 1960’s, or any decade. Is it any wonder so many boys wanted to be in a band or, in my case, become a radio DJ?
Groovin’ – Released April 10, 1967 #1 on Billboard Pop Chart
A Girl Like You – July 3, 1967 #10
How Can I Be Sure? – August 28, 1967 #4
A Beautiful Morning – April 1, 1968 #3
Philomena Knows All
Another fine British documentary series, shaming Sir David Attenborough, James Burke, and many others, for their appalling lack of knowledge, shallow insights, and poor presentation skills.
